Renewing Borneo Schematics uses exactly the same activation code as a first-time purchase. You order, a code arrives by email, and you paste it into the app. There is only one difference from a new account — and it is the difference that decides whether your licence extends or you quietly end up with a second account.
The one thing that matters
Inside the application, choose Renewal, not Register.
Register creates a new account and applies the code to that. Renewal applies the code to the account you are already using. Both accept the same code, both report success, and only one of them does what you wanted. If your history, saved work and existing sign-in matter to you, this is the click to get right.
Step 1 — Order the licence
Order whichever duration you want from the pricing page. There is no separate renewal product and no separate price — a renewal and a new activation cost the same, because the code is the same thing. Nothing needs doing beforehand.
Use the email address you actually read; that is where the code goes. Codes are issued in 1–6 hours.
Step 2 — Open the tool, or the portal
Start Borneo Schematics from C:\Borneoschematic. If it will not open for you — an expired licence sometimes makes people assume the install is broken — you can do the same thing at portal.borneoschematic.com in a browser.
Step 3 — Choose Renewal and paste the code
Select Renewal, then paste the activation code from your email. Copy it rather than retyping it — one wrong character reads to the server as an invalid code, not as a typo.
Step 4 — Confirm the new expiry date
Sign in again and read the expiry date on your account panel. If it still shows the old date, sign out and back in once; the client holds licence state between sessions.
Can I renew before it expires?
Yes, and it is the safer habit. Renewing early generally extends the existing expiry rather than replacing it, so the days you have already paid for are not thrown away. If the exact dates matter for a job you have booked in, ask us before ordering rather than after.
My licence expired months ago. Do I need a new account?
No. A lapsed licence does not delete the account. Renewal is still the right choice however long it has been sitting idle — pressing Register instead would abandon the account you already have and start a fresh one.
If the renewal has not landed
- Has the payment cleared? An order still pending payment has not entered the queue.
- Did you press Renewal? If you pressed Register by mistake, the time went to a brand-new account. Tell us before ordering again — that is usually fixable.
- Codes are single-use. One code, one activation.
- Past six hours? Send us the order number.
First time buying instead? The new activation guide covers the install and the Register step in order.
